Seven Last Words

Geoff King is one of oldest and dearest friends from my time at Oberlin. An opportunity arose for us to work together and premiere a new work in the chapel of Robinson College, Cambridge, at the invitation of Sir Richard Heaton. Inspired by the space, as well my own personal connection with sacred music, another Lenten work arose, taking the form and structure of Haydn’s Seven Last Words as the point of departure for crafting a new work.
